"I badly broke my leg 4 months ago, just started weight bearing and desperate to get into cycling. But I'd lost my confidence and also didn't know the Glentress routes at all. Chris was an excellent guide - he assessed my level and designed the day's activities based on my ability. I had a great day and will definitely cycle with Chris again - thanks" A F, Majuro (Marshall Islands).
"11/10 [Shades of Spinal Tap]. What can I say, great accommodation, comfy bed, very warm welcome, fantastic mountainbike trails and friendly guiding at Innerleithen and Glentress. Plus workshop with a proper bike stand and secure bike storage. What's not to like? That Innerleithen downhill is way fun. Great food, AND, to cap it all, Jane's banoffi pie goes to number eleven. Wishing you every success at Border Cycling and I hope to be back soon - all the way from Brighton." N B, Hove.
" Our first visit to Millbank (Innerleithen) and we are sure to return! We can recommend the comfortable bed and facilities, excellent breakfast and evening meal. The big plus - such helpful and welcoming hosts. We used their local knowledge to get the most out of our visit". H A, Lichfield.
" Worth your weight in gold." P W, Cardrona.
"As a relative novice to the mountain biking scene and generally feart of steep descents ending in a tangle of twisted metal, I thought it prudent to invest in a guided tour of the Glentress trails. My search bore fruit with Chris, who was both understanding and considerate of my two-wheeled abilities (or lack of) and eternally patient of my girlie squeals! He sought out suitable routes through the forest that I would otherwise never have found and kept the pace and the gradient at the perfect level for me; certainly challenging but stopping short of the sheer terror (and aforementioned twisted metal scenario) that I would have found myself in had I gone it alone and inevitably taken a wrong turn! I ended the day exhilarated and mud-spattered, boasting of trails that my regular Glentress-going friends have not even yet discovered! A guided tour is certainly the way to explore the expanse of Glentress and really get the most out of your day - Chris is a fantastic guide, an excellent mountain biker himself and caters for all abilities - I will certainly be back for another shot!" P S, Edinburgh.
"Thanks! Thats for a great trip. You were great hosts, the room was lovely, the food was delicious and the biking was fantastic!" D H, South East London.
